  1. I have a systems that you guys installed about 6 months ago. During the storms the other night my power went out and my keypad started beeping. It was also saying 1 was open when it wasnt. I do have a green light now but am worried that my alarm was damaged and havent used it since. Should I call you to check it out or is it ok to use? Thanks

    • Hi Todd and thank you for your post. Our records show that you have a napco 1632 alarm panel. What you are describing is normal operation of your system. When the system loses power you will get an E 01 which means Error 01. This is completely different from zone 01. Common error codes include E 01 loss of power, E 02 low battery, and E 03 phone line trouble. For the second and third trouble you should call us for service. The loss of power however, should clear when the power is reapplied which it sounds like it has. The system will still operate with a loss of power thanks to the backup battery. To silence the alarm and continue using it during a trouble hold the reset button down for a few seconds. The beeping should stop and you should get a green light and be able to arm the system.   2. I am looking for monitoring for my system and came across your website. I see you claim to offer monitoring for $10 per month. Im just wandering whats the catch? I live in Somerset can I get your monitoring for my system? Whats the difference between your monotoring and monitoring from other companies that cost upwards of $30 or more per month? Is yours reliable? My system says dsc on it will your monotoring work with mine?

    • Hi Steven, and thank you for your post. First off there is no catch. If you have a phone line you may get $10.00 per month monitoring from us. Other security companies make a huge profit selling you monitoring services that they pay very little for. There’s simply no reason why customers who paid hundreds or even thousands of dollars for their system shouldn’t own it outright and receive low cost monitoring. We don’t believe that is fair so we offer our monitoring services at a significantly lower rate. We do offer other monthly services which our customers may add such as Automation, Maintenance, and Cellular monitoring. However, these are only options and they are not required.       As far as reliability, our monitoring station is UL listed and is one of the most advanced monitoring stations in the country. In fact, our customers who have switched from previous companies claim that our monitoring station responds much quicker than their former company. Ours usually responds in less than 1 minute compared to others with a response time around 3 minutes or more.

      Lastly, yes we absolutely offer $10.00 per month monitoring to the Somerset KY area. We travel to Somerset quite often and would be glad to set your monitoring up for you. We have even helped “do it yourselfers” through phone support and set them up with our monitoring in other states!
